3D Sound design and texts for the eponym choreographic and sound installation by Lorena Dozio. Invisible dances explores the representation of dance via sound, music, and speech. Firstly by engaging the audience in immersing in different states of mind and body. States from which an individual dance can emerge. Secondly through audio descriptions (usually devoted to blind people who attend performances) of samples of dance pieces of the 20th and 21st centuries. Thouroughly curated by Lorena Dozio for their interest sound wise, these pieces can be rediscovered from a whole new angle. A work that adresses our abilities to feel, imagine, and mentally picture, choreographies.

With the collaboration of Valerie Castan, Kerem Gelebek, and Roberto Mucchiut.

Supported by LAC Lugano, RESO dance Switzerland, and GRAME Lyon.
